Truck stalled out while driving will not start

Not sure about your truck older Fords have 2 fuel pumps 1 in the tank & 1 under cab drivers side. Anytime you change a pump you must change your filter. also check your fuel line if it has been pinched or has a leak pressure will drop

Car stalled while driving and does not seem to be getting fuel

what makes you think it isnt getting any fuel? first things first, check your inertia switch. its in the rh foot well against the a pillar. its a switch designed to cut fuel in case of impact, believe it or not, we see this once in a while happen even when no serious impact has occured, maybe passengers kick the panel, im not sure but that would be what i would check first, then move on to the fuses and relays for the fuel pump, last i would check power going to the fuel pump, and ground.

My 2004 manual transm Ranger sometimes stalls while driving, and will not start unless I press the fuel pump reset button, sometimes called "enertia" switch. I do not get any check engine lights when this...

the inertia switch is only supposed to trip in the event of impact, so unless you are off roading or otherwise jolting the vehicle - the switch may be failing.....

2004 Ranger XLT 4x4 (4.0 V6) fuel pump/system problem

if the pump has been changed twice its probally not the pump. could be the fuel pressure regulator. the computer will still throw a fuel code but in order to really diagnose the problem they would have to test the fuel pressure.
