Question about 1998 Chevrolet Malibu
Car's power completely shut off when driving. I roll to a stop. Hve to pop the hood and jiggle the negative terminal around to restore power. Takes a few tries before I can get the car to start. 1998 Malibu
Problem is either the battery or the terminals that go on the battery. Remove and clean both terminals and if the problem persists replace the battery.

Clean the battery cable ends with sand paper or emery cloth & replace them. This may be all that is needed.Make sure ground wire is cleaned alsoat the engine block.
