It doesn't have fuel if you have to hot wire the fuel pump. Check the fuel pump relay

Car will start sometimes other times i will have to continue to crank the engine it cranks everytime

As it cranks, is there white or black exhaust smoke ?? If yes, the fuel injectors have solid build up on the tips. Normally, a quart bottle of injector cleaner treats 20 gallons. Pour 5 to 7 quarts of fuel injector cleaner. With cold engine (been parked for at least an hour or overnight), while cranking engine, have 2nd person spray starting fluid into air filter. DO NOT PRESS ON GAS PEDAL !!! Let the starting fluid do its job of starting the car. Starting fluid is highly combustible, so its important you don't give any gas while its cranking and 2nd person is spraying into air filter. When engine starts, stop spraying starting fluid and give a little gas. If engine begins to die, immediately spray a little starting fluid again. When engine begins to run, let it run a few minutes to let fuel injector cleaner to do its job (loosen solid carbon build up on tips of fuel injectors).

Could a faulty fuel pump make your tach start bouncing lower suddenly and run rough than not want to start. Spray some starter fluid and fires up runs fine sometimes.

It sounds like you may have gotten a little water in your gas. Or sometimes if you run an older model car out of gas or real darn close to empty you can get dirt and debris that lies on the bottom of your gas tank sucked into your injectors. I would first try buying a high quality fuel treatment from the auto parts store and adding it to the gas tank during your next fill up. Also check and see if it's time to replace the spark plugs and plug wires.

I have a '95 Thunderbird Lx with a 4.6 L V8 that will sometimes turn over but will not start. It used to be a rare occurance and would eventually start after waiting awhile (sometimes an hour or so)...

i had the same kind of problem and if you pull the spark plug wires you'll see big black holds that the spark is going to the side of engine instead of going to plug. Change wires!

I have a 98 Honda Accord v6, that runs fine 99% of the time sometimes when I get gas or randomly it will not turns over but sounds like it is getting no gas at all. Usually if I wait a few...

You might want to replace the fuel filter and check your fuel pump. If the fuel filter gets dirty it will slow or stop the fuel from going to the injectors/ can also cause the injectors/carb to become fouled or blocked. Be aware that buying gasoline from a service station when they are receiving a fuel delivery is a good way of getting a lot of unwanted sediment from their tanks into yours.

the injectors are plugged you can try a can of STP gas treatment with injector cleaner in it and if that helps you should be alright but if it does not you may need to replace the injectors if you need instructions or diagrams on this try or your local library

Sometimes the engine doesn't start and the spark plugs are wet

Change cap & plug wires. If emergency before wire & cap repalcement, spray wires & cap with WD-40, let sit a few minutes & try it. WD-40 displaces moisture. Don't keep doing that though, its dangerous, just replace wires & cap.
