You should have 2 positive power supplies to your always on, the other only on when ignition is in ON or ACC position. Hope this helps. There are sometimes inline fuses tucked up under dash.

No power to the radio, Checked all fuses under, drivers panel, and passengers panel. I have my codes but without power they are useless.

have you checked the fuse at the back of the radio ? If ok and has power to the radio then check the earth is ok, and the ignition on power is ok , if all these are ok then the fault lies within the radio

Reverse light problem

do you have a voltage meter, reversing is independent line, ignition to fuse to switch to light, follow the main wire to the rear lights you may find there is a brake in the wire, mostly go were there is a rubber joint covering or behind the seats at rear. would check to see if its live, reversing switch side is earth state. so check you have a good earth. some models had an extra earthing wire from the gear box to the shell of the underneath.

My buddy has a 03 trailblazer he blew a fuse tiring to wire in some lights with his dome light so we replaced the fuse everything works good but the dome wont turn on when u open the doors and when u lock...

sounds like you blew more than one fuse.
check the live feed to the dome light, then check the earth return through the door switch, make sure it switches. if no earth return you must check wiring and switch. if no live, go back to fuse boxes.

Horn not working on 2002 Buick Regal, check fuse and that's not the problem. Any ideas???

you need a test light to see if there is power and earth going to the horn when the switch is pressed,, if the live and earth are present you need a new horn if they or one of them are missing you will need totrace back from the horn to find either a broken wire or a faulty switch ,,, hope this helps

Mercedes e220, horn, heater fan and electric

Horn and heater may be fuse related. The headrests have nothing to do with fuses. The switch is bad or going that way for the seat or the motors for the headrests are out.

The horn fuse spin it, or replace as corrosion from aluminum fuses cause problems. I suggest replacing them all with new copper barrel fuses. The blower motor fan is a strip fuse on the driver side strut mount in a tootsie roll sized case.

Lighter has no power so I cannot use the garmin. I loked for a fuse marked lighter but there is none. I checked the radio fuse but it's ok.

it probably shares a fuse with somthing else. best thing is to remove each fuse, one ata time and check them all.
If it aint the fuse, have you checked for a live feed at the lighter socket, in the centre at the base. be careful not to short circuit against the side of the socket.
if no live here , try to remove the socket assembly and check for live and earth at the plug. I think the ignition may have to be on for this to operate.

Radio comes but no sound. Radio seems to be working and the connections are ok. Fuses are ok.

if you dont get even a pop or crack when turned on at first, check the radios memory on the read-out on the radio face and see if its on mute setting, and if this is not the case, there are 2 fuses, one controls memory power and the other controls audio output power, check both as if one fuse is out the other cant make the radio operate properly

My radio quit working. does it need to be

Check all fuses for radio...In addition to the fuse in the fuse box, there could be inline fuses tucked up under dash or in rear of radio. There should be 2 live positive wires going to constant power, the other live when key is On or Acc..also check for good earth connection. Hope this helps.
