Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

I have a 97 pontiac grand prix 3800 and i know the screws adjust the head lights but is that all i would have to do to adjust them?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. The screws should adjust the height of the lights. Park the car at night with the lights on a wall of some type to get equal height.

Wires need to be tested at certain points to find out whats going on. It could be as simple as a bad ground somewhere. This needs to be looked at by someone with experience so that more damage is not done. Hope this helps.

What years 3.1 engine will fit in 1998 pontiac grand prix

Unfortunately it's a (relatively) one year only engine (without major component changes). However, these will fit without those changes:

'97, '98, '99 Buick Century,

'98, '99 Lumina (car),

'98, '99 Grand Prix,

'99, Monte Carlo.

This is assuming that you have an (8th digit) "M" VIN. Off the top of my head.
