With the condition of the screws you should check to make sure there is a good connection to the lower bulbs for both power and ground.

2011 ford feista se brake light out on drivers side. Running light and blinker work. Have replaced bulb and socket with same results what do I do now?

Did you try the passenger side brake bulb in the driver side socket (maybe the new lamp is bad)??

If it works, then the problem is either a bad ground connection / wire at / between chassis and the shell of brake lamp socket, or bad 12 volt wire at / between the common passenger 12 volt brake light wire in the harness to the center contact on the brake lamp socket.

My suggestion is if the brake lamp wire is ONLY for brakes - not the directional too, simply add a new wire spliced into the passenger side brake light wire and extend it to the brake light wire closest to the new socket that you recently installed on the driver side. Disconnect the vehicle brake wire from the new socket and wire nut it off or tape it up (so it can't short out if it somehow becomes energized again) and splice this new wire to the new socket.

Test & you're done!

Ny brake lights work and my tail lights work .When I have the key on and the tail lights on and hit the brake pedal my passenger side lights go out ,but drivers side works

It sounds like the system is working . The problem with the pasanger side light is most likely a problem with the bulb connection or a slight ground connection to the ligh . Try cleaning the terminals to the bulb and put some dielectric grease on the contacts you might as well do them all . And also make sure the lights have a good ground connection to the body there is a ground wire for all of the lights . A bad ground or a bad bulb in the front even if the light appaers to work still has two filamants turn and running and could cause a problem in the rear lighting . Head lights will have nothing to do with this problem its the brake and siginal or running lights check it out good luck

Brake lights don't work on 2004 Alero

Take the bulb out on the right side and test the terminals in the connector whilst someone else presses on the brakes. If you get 12 volts, then replace your bulb. If you don't get 12 volts, you will have to trace down the problem starting at the bulb. Usually a blown fuse or bad brake switch will cause the entire brake light unit to not function, so I am sure this has to be a wiring issue.

2002 Pontiac Montana. Front passenger side turn signal doesn't blink but the bulb is working as a running light. The faulty turn signal connection causes the right turn signal to blink excessively fast. Do...

Need to replace the bulb. There are 2 filaments in the bulb. 1 works parking light the other is turn signal. It flashes fast to alert you that it has a blown out bulb.

Rear brake light are not working checked fuse under hood and passenger side dash could not find fuse by brake pedal

It could possibly be the actual switch that sits behind the break pedal. When the break pedal depresses or presses into the switch, the break lights go on or off. Not sure how much they run, but really easy to change. You could also check the switch with an ohm meter if available by making sure it breaks or runs continuity through the terminals when the switch is pressed/released. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Emergency Flashers totally out, Rear lights malfunctioning

Check the ground on the passenger side rear lights, it's likely bad. As for the hazards, sounds like a bad flasher or fuse.

99 mercury mystide had rear running light broken

If the driver's side tail light is working, it's not a fuse. Use a test light to check for power at the bulb holder. One terminal will be for tail light, the other for brake/turn light. If the is constant power for tail light, replace bulb. If no power, trace wiring from bulb holder to driver's side junction. Probable broken wire between the two tail lights.
