Question about 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee
You should check your crankshaft position sensor. That is a common failure on the Jeeps. Also common is corrosion in the crankshaft harness, the dealer has a repair kit that involves new wires to the ecm from the new sensor to remedy that problem. However the 1st check should be a basic ops check: do you have spark, fuel, does the PCM see any RPM from the crank sensor (can be checked with a scantool or a scope/multimeter). If you have no spark and no fuel injection signal, crank sensor is highly suspect. If you have spark, and fuel pulse, ASD relay or fuel pump might be next most likely (fuel pressure check will tell you if its the pump).

I know it is difficult but using an OBD II computer code detector is going to give you the information you need in order to solve this problem with out buying sensors and parts that will not solve you problem, if I were you I would remove a plug and attach it to the plug wire and have an assistant turn the vehicle over to check to see if there is spark, then listen to hear for the momentary hum of the fuel pump located at the gas tank ( the pump only stays on for 2-4 seconds so have an assistant listen towards the back for the hum as you turn the ignition key to the position just before start if he hears the hum the fuel pump is working, after those checks you or I would be guessing crank sensor , cam sensor maybe?
