Guessing gets expensive. Is the check engine lamp ON? If so, there will be stored trouble codes that are necessary to propely determine the cause of the stall. Catalytic converters do not unplug when cold, if they are plugged, they are plugged at all temps and vehicle runs worse the more gas you give it but may idle OK. Typically, stalls after warm are electrical failures, often computers, or solid state components that fail when they heat, and cool off over tyme. Ignition components are highly suspect generally, as are sensors. crankshaft position sensor especially is common to fail only warm on most vehicles.

Try checking the resistance (ohms) of you coi or coil pack when it has quit....my best guess is you have a bad DIS coil or controller....Most part stores can test them for you, but they may test good when cool or cold.

Hi. This is a common fault with m50/52/52tu engines. Engine is flooded because you did not warm it up. Must be out of blue on temp gauge be for you turn off.

1985 toyota 4runner running too lean

Maybe it's not running lean. Maybe it's misfiring. Since you put in new fuel parts and that didn't help, maybe there is an ignition component that fails when it gets hot. A bad coil can do this, also the igniter-rarely, admittedly, but you could have it tested. When it stalls and won't start, if you check for spark and find none, it would confirm an ignition problem.
I hope you find it. Post back and let us know.

When i start it up it runs, and than it dies about 50 feet later. i wait for awhile and than it starts back up, and does the samething. i tested the alternator and it was good. and sugestions what it could...

Fuel filter could cause this issue. as pressure builds in the filter it forces settled dirt into the filter causing the stall. Then after it set for a few the dirt settles back down. Try replacing it. Its a cheap fix :)

Car stalling out and bot starting after being driven for awhile.

mcdevito75 Here, It"s possible the ignition Module is going bad, no way to test and if so, one day the car will not start at all.----------It can also be a vapor loc, wher the fuel is evaporating before it reaches the cylinders. Best Bet, have your local shop check both these items.

Will start up run for awhile then stall and wont restart

Hello, I would start with a general tune up. Spark plugs and wires, Fuel Filter, Oil Change and Filter Change, Air Filter Change, Some injector cleaner would not hurt eirther. Be sure to lubricate your high mileage car and also use a farily good oil for your motor as well. The run for awhile problem sounds like bad spark plugs. I would change your spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotarty button.
