Just jump the relay socket under the hood or jumper the red sef test connector under the hook.

Why do i have to bypass my fuel pump relay

I look at the relay as two different circuits, the load side of relay is that line with arrowhead, when relay is energized that line moves to other terminal, you can see voltage to load side of relay comes from fusible link. That circuit goes through inertia switch, then to the pump. Then you have the control side of relay, left side in the diagram, that side has to have voltage and ground, voltage comes from eec power relay and that circuit is grounded by the pcm.

Memory serves me correct it is above the e-brake lever under the dash. Or it could be the passenger side just up under the glove box . Hope this helps you.

Ford ranger fuel shutoff switch

i bet its the ecm relay if it starts cutting out then dies then it is the ecm relay i had one that did the same thing if its your fuel relay unplug it clean the terminals and plug it back in if it still does it buy a new one and replace if you bypass it you take a chance of burning the truck too the ground and if ya dont really care about that then find your positive wire in the plug with the key on and hook it too the one that runs your fuel pump so its hard wired
