I would say try changing the spark plugs and spark plug wires if gas is old put in at least 5 gallons of fresh gas and change the fuel filter.

Shuts off while driving

The fuel pump gets power from the pump relay on startup, then from the oil pressure switch when the engine is running. You could try a jumper to the relay to bypass the pressure switch to confirm the problem. The design is to prevent a fire in a wreck.

The fuel pump is going bad on my 1996 olds ninety eight. What I need to know is how long it will take my remove the take and the correct procedure to remove the tank.

make sure you have as little gas in the tank as possible, unplug tank , usually up near top or tank if possible , unhook gas fill tube from fuel door area , (screws usually inside fuel door), unhook fuel lines from tank closest to the tank as possible, place jack under fuel tank and slightly tighten to tank, release tank straps and lower jack, roll out free from under vehicle and remove pump from tank, reverse process to reassemble.

1995 olds 98 no supercharge stalls while driving but will start back up but will aventually cut off again new fuel pump, filter and coil packs

These cars are equipped with a factory installed security system that runs off the chip in your key. When this system starts to fail, it can turn off starters and/or fuel to injectors. This causes the car to stall while driving. The system the corrects itself when you start it again. And then dies for the same reason. Check this link out for some symptoms, tell tale signs, and solutions.

It wont stay crunk unless i pour gas in that port after that it stops running

CAN YOU HEAR THE FUEL PUMP RUN WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY?? if so then install a pressure guage and see if the pressure drops when you try to start the car, your problem is fuel , either a pump or no voltage getting to pump

I have a 92 olds 98 runs for 15min shuts off

Have the engine analyzed to check battery, charging system, spark, fuel, any stored engine codes, etc. It's worth the fee to find out what's wrong. Probably less than $100 to do it.

My 92 oldsmobile royale starts fine but after engine gets to normal temp the car starts to sputter and drive funny then will stop running.

Lightly tap on the case of the ECM, (silver box behind glove box) while it is running fine to see if it shuts down. If so. Replace ECM. Those were bad about the components on the board inside vibrating loose.
