Radio lock out codes are security related to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions an what info u need to get your cars unique radio code.

The code might be written in you owners manual/warrenty booklet. Its usally 4 numbers. Also if you pop out the radio the code could be on the radio itself, if not call the dealer with the radio out and give them the serial #

My 1996 volvo 850 is having problems with the radio and i need the code in order to make it work? does anyone have these needed codes to turn the radio back on?

sometimes there is a card in the jacket with the owner's manual with the code on it. It would be credit card sized if it were there. Otherwise you will need to make a call to your local dealer, and hope they don't need more than the VIN number to get the codes. Many times they need the serial number from the stereo but they will have to call the tech support to get an unlock code. If they do get it unlocked, be sure to write down the code and keep it in a safe place, like with the owner's manual.

Radio reset code for volvo 850 1996

Go to the dealership. They will require the vin number. But all radios are different to prevent theft. That is the only way I have found to get the codes. You will need to have your vin number for them.

VOLVO 850 RADIO/CD REPLACEMENT

Yes, its simply to remove the radio wich is there (two clamps, one on each side) retract the connectors.
You might need to buy a compartment to conceal the part of the opening that will be exposed when removing the bigfront-radio.
(Volvo-dealers can help you) And a cableset wich contains the connectors to the Radio-connectors in the 850 and directly to the radio you buy. (Most radio-dealers hava all kinds)

New radio mounts in only e few hours. All included.
Theese Volvos are very well prepeared for this.

How do i reset the radio code in a volvo 850 glt sedan 1996

go to your local volvo dealership, and you must have the car in your name, but ask one of the mechanics if you can have the code for your radio, they'll look it up and give it to you I believe.

How can I get the code for the radio of a volovo 850?

The first step is to try and remove the radio to see if the code has been written on the casing. This is sometimes done with Volvo.

You will also need to provide the model number printed on the front of your stereo as Volvo branded units are often Clarion or another major brand that has been re-branded Volvo.
