Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

Radio won't turn on

I have a 2002 Jetta Wagon (turbo) and the radio will not turn on at all! I can't figure out which fuse is for the radio as it is not as clear as it should be. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If the fuses are numbered, the radio fuse is number 42.

is it the stock radio? fuse box is near the hood release, check the diagram on the inner side of the fuse box plate to find out which fuse it is. If not a stock radio there's probably a blown fuse behind your deck.

check the fuse on the back of the radio, i have seen these blow a couple of times. you have to remove the radio using the same tools as a ford style radio (the two prongs on each side).

Fuse number 42 is for the radio reset. Pull it out and put it back in. It's a warranty problem, expired now no doubt.
