I need to change gas filter in ford taurus wagon 2001

Go under the car. On the drivers side about half way between the car you will see the filter. Now you can use clamps to keep the fuel from spilling out or use the shut off switch which is located in the trunk. I use clamps. Make sure you place the new one on just the same way the used one was so observe carefully. Good luck.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
   
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines.
5. Loosen the filter retaining clamp and remove the fuel filter.
6. reverse for assembly
