The two components are unrelated, hwever there should be a thumb screw that opens the power distribution box on the windstar.

2003 gmc envoy Windows fuse

Are all windows not working ? Two separate circuit breakers left & right . Both in rear fuse box . Fuse Block - Rear Beneath the left rear seat
Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from body to doors.
Do you know about electronic control modules ?
The power window system consists of the following components:
?€¢
Driver door module (DDM)

?€¢
Passenger door module (PDM)

?€¢
Body control module (BCM)

?€¢
LR power window switch

?€¢
RR power window switch

?€¢
Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches

?€¢
Window lockout switch

?€¢
Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

?€¢
LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)

?€¢
RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position.
The DDM contains 4 power window switches which are integral components. Closing any of the normally open, rocker type switches provides the DDM with a request for power window operation. The switches for the 2 front windows have 3 positions Up, Down and Express Down, while the switches for the rear windows have only 2 positions, Up and Down. Each of these switches and their positions is a direct input into the DDM. Upon receiving a request for power window operation, the DDM, transmits a class 2 message indicating the switch and it's changed position.
The PDM contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDM with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 2 positions Up and Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDM.
The 2 rear passenger doors have there own switches. Each of the switches contain a power window up and down relay. A switch activation alone can control the up and down functions of the rear windows. However the BCM, upon receiving a class 2 message from the DDM, can control the set of relays which will activate the rear window motors.

Where is my fuse box and where they store the extra fuses ?

The way you describe it, it sounds more like a loose connector or faulty wire to me. Fuses do not blow then "unblow" for a few seconds then blow again. I would recommend checking the power and ground circuits to your instrument cluster.

Another thing that is important that you understand is that fuses do not cause electrical system failures. Electrical system failures cause blown fuses.

With all that said, there are 2 fuse boxes. One is under the hood on the right fender apron and the other is under the dash at the right kick panel.

There are also 2 fuses that provide circuit protection for your instrument cluster. One is 15 Amp fuse #16 in the underhood power distribution center and the other is 10 Amp fuse #9 in the junction block under the dash.

Where is the headlight fuse location for 2000 stype jag

Hello Imntbll9,
There are 3 different fuse boxes in the 2001 Jaguar S Type vehicle and all of them are on the passenger side of the vehicle. The First One is called "Front Power Distribution Box" and is located under the hood on the passenger side of the engine next to the generator. The Second One is called "Primary Junction Box" and is located in the passenger foot area near the door jam. The
Third One is called "Rear Power Distribution box" and is located in the trunk of the vehicle next to the battery. These are the three places in the vehicle you will find the fuse boxes. The headlight fuse is in the "Front Power Distribution Box" and if you were to stand on the side of the car next to the right front tire and look down at the Front Power Distribution Box #7 in the middle farthest away from you on the box should be the Front Fog Lamp Relay. From here there should be a diagram on the box to let you know exactly which fuse will be the headlights such as high beam and low beam and from there it should give its exact location and color of the fuse as well as the number of the fuse fore example such as blue 15 etc... I do hope this will help you. Thank you j_berry06

Look in your owner manual for the 3 fuse box locations. It is similar to our Lincoln LS.

From LS owner manual.

There is a 175 amp mega fuse in the wire harness near the luggage compartment fuse box. In circuit with Red/Blue wire.
--------------------------------

Front power distribution box

The front power distribution box is

located in the engine compartment.

The power distribution box contains

high-current fuses that protect your

vehicle's main electrical systems
from overloads.
-----------------------------------------

Passenger compartment fuse panel

The fuse panel is located on the right hand side kick panel. Remove the

panel cover to access the fuses.

To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel

cover.

Rear power distribution box

The rear power distribution box is

located in the luggage compartment

under the spare tire well cover. The

power distribution box contains

high-current fuses that protect your

A circuit breaker does not blow, it just trips. In the distribution box # 4 is the breaker for the power windows. The power windows have a relay that may be defective especially if you hear no click. On here http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl997g.htm you can see the procedure for diagnosing the problem.

2005 sebring convertible- horn goes off by itself for 30 seconds

FIrst off the horn's ground works through the steering wheel,so the wire is bare or the end is broken and grounding in a place where it should not. You will have to check the wires for the horn from the fuse box up to the wheel.
your power feed to the headlights and the door locks has an open ( the power is not connected somewhere ) Perform a wiggle test turn on the headlights and lift the hood, find the power distribution box and begin to wiggle the wire harness.Sometimes the chrysler fuse box under the hood get loose inside the power distribution box,it will have to be broken down all the way to the heavy wires comming out of hte box,you can tighten these connections your self.
