Problem is most likelt the headlight switch, check for power going into the switch, if power is present then the switch is bad.

Why are my headlights cutting out when i turn my high beams on?

The problem will be due to a malfunctioning headlight dimmer switch and a dimmer switch connector. Also check the high beam connector.

What fuse is for low beam headlights

The headlights may not be fused, but rather a circuit breaker protects them. This is located inside the light switch itself... Test by supplying power and ground to your actual headlight, both low and high beam, to be sure they are not burned out...

1998 Windstar - the high beam lights won't shut off

CHECK THE DIMMER SWITCH. THE SWITCH MAY BE "STUCK IN HIGH BEAM POSITION. THE STEERING WHEEL WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED. ANOTHER THING TO CHECK FIRST IS THE HIGH BEAM RELAY. THIS MAY BE UNDER THE HOOD IN A FUSE PANEL OR UNDER THE DASH. HOPE THIS SHEDS SOME "LIGHT" ON THE SUBJECT..lol

My left headlight highbeam light works and the lowbeam don't why

the filament on the low beam burnt out. but the high beam didn't. You have a filament for each. 1 for high beam and 1 for low beam in the same light bulb. You need a new head light.

I have a 1998 Chevrolet K2500 that the headlights are not working correctly on. When I turn the headlights on nothing comes on unless I turn on the high beams, only the high beams are on, no low beams. ...

Somehow the tan wire from the low beams has been cut from the hi/lo switch and is now attached to the brown wire from the headlight switch. Trace the tan wire from the headlights to the hi/lo switch to see what happened.
