It sounds like you may not have enough oil in your engine to maintain the proper pressure. You should check your oil level as you may have a leak. When you come to a stop, if you give it a bit of gas and the light goes off, it definitely means there's a problem with the pressure. Look around the engine for signs of oil. (one area people often forget to check is right where the engine connects to the transmission) Also if your exhaust smoke is bluish, then you're burning oil which means you're leaking it into the combustion chambers.

Low oil... Loosing gound connection in wiring or oil sensor. Somewhere of what I just said sounds to be the problem.

Car wont start

Those two warning lights should not affect the ability to start the truck.
Will the engine crank, and do you have spark and fuel pressure ?

2001 mitsubishi montero sport 4wd battery and brake lights are on.

I doubt it is the belt because if the belt is slipping you should hear it.
The alternator could be about to crash and not charging at lower speeds.
You would check alternator output to find out.
The battery and brake warning lights are on the same circuit.

I parked the mitsibushi montero sport that I was

make sure the brake lever is all the way reased if it is it could be the switch moved out of adjustment or a wire has came loose from the switch or the switch has gone bad, and still yet there may be a problem with the brake system unrelated to the hand brake.
hope this helped
