Question about 1997 Mercedes-Benz C-Class
It is not the ignition problem, it is a fuel delivery problem. 1- First need to clean very well the throttle valve to remove built up gums. 2- Make sure the vacuum hose connected to area near the throttle valve not clogged up, rubber connection is tight or replace them. After this still not improving, need to replace fuel filter. If it still not improving, have the fuel delivery rate checked, before changing the fuel pump. Good luck.
