Question about 2000 Land Rover Range Rover
2000 discovery will not start after installing new battery and alternator. panel lights are lit, no blown fuses, and can hear the fuel pump noises. no gas is flowing. could it be the fuel pump relay, fuel pump, or just simply reset the fuel cutoff button?
Start with the fuel cutoff......sometimes they need to be reset. Step 2 would be the the fuel relay.........I doubt that the fuel pump is not working as you said you can hear it engage. Let me know if you need anymore help.

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure
or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty
ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
