Toyota Starlet 1997 need correct transmission band adjustment HELP!

If the car is vibrating in D and R I suspect that the idle speed setting is well below the required 900 rpm at idle . Add a a/c cutting and out it is a wonder that the engine is not at stall speed.

Located near the air filter, towards the rear end of the engine (left corner of engine).
A small box labelled 'diagnostics'. Open it and you have the pins for the OBD connections.

Cylinder head torque 1n diesel engine

Hi!

The Toyota Starlet is a fuel efficient compact car that replaced Toyota's Publica model in 1973 and was manufactured through the 1999 model year. The Starlet was sold new in the United States for only four years, from 1981 through the 1984 model year. Originally a rear-wheel drive car, the Starlet transitioned to front-wheel drive in 1984.

The 1981 to 1984 versions of the Starlet that were sold in the U.S. were powered by a 1.3 liter OHV engine with four cylinders and electronic fuel injection. The engine has a 2.95-inch bore and 2.87-inch stroke and produces 58 horsepower at 4,200 rpm. The 1981 and 1982 versions of the engine produced 67 ft-lbs of torque, and the 1983 and 1984 versions produced 74 ft-lbs of torque. The compression ratio is 9.5:1.
Hope that helps!!

I need to know how much oil to put into mi toyota starlet 1984 3k cause i dont have a dip stick

Most vehicles when changing oil uses 5 quarts of oil. I believe that is any vehicle even trucks after you have drained the old oil out of it and is changing your oil. It should last a good 5 months but it is best to change your oil about every 3 months. that is what we do around here and we have 4 vehicles

to maintain just do the normal services, oil changes, filter changes, i heard mixed reveiws on the engine, some have major bearing problems with the engine and other love it,if its due to lack of maintinace i wont know, but its the problem, the bearings. also i dont know what year yours is but the engine i speak of is the 1n diesel. good luck i always say preventive maintenance goes a long way.a good diesel engine should go 200 to300,000 miles,
