Question about 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I don't believe there is a problem, but here is how to check. 1st, many vehicles now cycle the a/c system on automatically if you use the climate control system at all. So, if you turn on the heat, the a/c will cycle on (not to lower the temp, but to remove condensation from the air). So, what you see, may be condensation from the a/c after all. Get a white paper towel, tissue, or rag, and blot up the dripping fluid. If it's clear, it has to be the a/c, also look under vehicle to see if it's exiting from the a/c drain tube, located in front of the passenger side front seating area, a bit behind the back of the front wheel. If it doesn't seem to fit the above description, check for the color of the liquid, green (coolant), red or pink (transmission or power steering fluid), brown or black (engine oil, or brake fluid). If any of the colors are evident, check the appropriate fluid levels to see if they are low. Let me know what you find or if you need further help.
