04 Kia Sorrento the only code that came on was for air flow sensor and tps but I replaced the parts and the Kia will turn on for a few seconds then turns off. I checked all sensors/fuses all good.

There is no idle relearn procedure for this vehicle. The computer will learn as the idle as the engine is running and trying to idle. If the engine still does not learn the idle and the IAC is new and the wiring from the iac to the computer is good, then chances are you might just have a bad tps, bad mass air flow sensor and or air or vacuum leak. Let me know

Engen problem and missing

Sir, your question is not very clear, but I will still try to post a solution here. Engine missing could be due to any problem in fuel system, ignition system, engine or ECM as well.

LOW ENGINE IDLE SPEED (Poor idling):
-Throttle body (do the cleaning and idle speed learning)
-A /C signal circuit
-Fuel pump control circuit
-Fuel pump
-Intake system
-P C V valve (clogged or open) and hose

ROUGH IDLING:
-Cylinder Compression
-Ignition system (Igniters, spark plugs, wiring harness)
-Spark plug fouled, gap too wide or too short. (1.00-1.1 mm)
-Fuel injector circuit
-E C M power source circuit
-Fuel pump control circuit
-Fuel pump (required pressure 44 psi - 49 psi)
-Throttle body (cleaning)
-Intake system
-P C V valve and hose
-Air fuel ratio sensor
-Heated oxygen s ens or
-Mass air flow meter
-Idle hunting
-Throttle body
-Intake system
-P C V valve and hose
-Air fuel ratio sensor
-Mass air flow meter

HESITATION/ POOR ACCELERATION:
-Fuel pump control circuit
-Fuel pump
-Spark plug
-Ignition system
-Fuel injector circuit
-E C M power source circuit
-Mass air flow meter
-Throttle body (do cleaning)
-Intake system
-Valve timing
-Cylinder Compression

Wont stay on

Sounds like your "Idle Air Control (IAC) valve is not working to raise RPM when engine is cold.

It is possible that the wires to the IAC were not reconnected when the MAF sensor was replaced.

It is also possible that another sensor, like engine temp sensor, was not reconnected after the work. Look carefully in the area around and under the MAF.

All else fails, the IAC is bad and needs to be replaced.

Car will not idle

If your car will not idle it could be a few issues.
1. Your IAC (Idle air control motor) is shot
2. You have a vacuum leak
3. fuel filter is clogged
4. you are leaking power, most likely out of spark plug wires
5. needs a tune up
6. bad gas
7. clogged injectors
8. map sensor
9. mass air flow sensor
Since you have located a rip in an intake hose, I would replace it. Depending on where it is located, and if it has wires plugged into it depends on the part. If it is black and has ridges in it, it is the mass air flow sensor. Other hose which are mostly just a generic hose and can be purchased at any auto store

may be you should make a diagnostic and you can do it in a garage or you can do it by yourself if you want to do it by yourself you need some tools and you can find some good ones here: xcardiag.com
