2.0 Liter, 2003 Rav4. Car had a ticking noise, Toyota replaced serptine belt and still makes ticking noise. Toyota says its lower engine rod bearings. I used stethascope and noise seems to be coming from...

big end bearings( lower engine rod bearings to confuse) knock at idle and get louder with rpm
if the noise changes with rpm and you are hearing it near the ac compressor then it could be the ac pulley bearing
test if it is the compressor by listening and then turning the ac off the pulley will still spin but the compressor stops
if the noise remains , replace the pulley bearings

Hi, I have a 2002 RAV4 Sports model purchased in Cebu Philippines it has under 100,000 klms on the clock. It has an engine noise occasional daily a rattle like continues noise in the engine when it comes...

It sounds like you are dealing with a transmission issue. When metal heats up, it expands. This would be the reason as to why the noise eventually goes away. Your gearing is slipping and will eventually give out. I would take it to someone I trusted an have them drain the transmission of it's fluid and have them look for metal shavings. This usually shows up when the vehicle has been mis-treated or has been put under severely heavy loads and it being pulled uphill. Inexperienced drivers don't know how to use the vehicle gears correctly and this eats the sprockets within the transmission slap out.

Hope this helps.

I have a 2005 rav4 and the engine makes a rattling noise while its running at idle, but the noise seems to go away when I build up road speed. It sound internal, around the area of the valves. Please give...

There are a whole lot things that could cause this problem. It could a chassis problem or something that is occurring within the engine.
Most sounds like this are usually related to certain parts of the body of the car. It is very possible that the part of the car has broken off partially due to continuous use and constant gallops and bumps while driving.
The best way to tackle this is to try to park the car and when the noise begins, try your best while being careful not to hurt yourself to know where this sound is coming from. If you are able to trace it to a particular region, you can get a mechanic to help you check the area for any abnormal condition in that area.
Also, it is quite possible that the engine needs to be serviced as some parts might have worn off after prolonged use.
Hope this was helpful? Please comment for more information and thank you for using fixya

My rav4 d4d 2.0L (52) wont start first time and is taking longer and longer. I want to bleed the system but dont know how to??

You need to check for gas and spark, disconnect one of the spark plug wire and put it close to the engine block and have someone crank the car you should see spark. the way you check the fuel pump turn the ignition on engine off you should here your fuel pump turn on or you should here a buzz.
