Try replacing the fuel filter and running fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system for the next 4 tank full. Gas that has been sitting for a long time and has oxidized turns in to varnish and the varnish may have gummed up the fuel lines, fuel injectors and fuel filter. Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter and run fuel injector cleaner through the fuel system. A product called Sea Foam is a good engine cleaner. Just fallow the instruction on the can for the engine and fuel system, please take note that there will be some smoke. The smoke is normal and will do no harm to the engine, just follow the instructions on the can and if you like, do a search on Youtube for Sea Foam and you'll see what i mean about smoke. Good luck and hope this helps.

The car start, run ,and you can turn it off it take about 30min. Before it start back up.

Consider replacing the crankshaft positioning sensor. A crank sensor is an electronic device used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control ignition system timing and other engine parameters.
The simplest and most obvious symptom of a failing crankshaft position sensor is the blinking "check engine" light in your car.
According to Do It "When the crankshaft position sensor begins to fail, the signal it transmits to the vehicle's computer begins to weaken. If left unattended, the signal will switch off completely. This, in turn, causes the car's spark plugs to die out, killing the engine. If you are having problems starting your car, it could indicate bad crankshaft position sensor".

Of course this may NOT be YOUR problem, but it sounds like it could be, doesn't it?

Starter fusible link

wow no year, or even honda car model stated, amazing...but..
crossing what.?
big lug to big
or big to little terminal.
a key fact that......????????
if the starter runs then all fuses are good in the engine bay.
the main starter is not fused anyway. sorry.

if starter cranks engine, with big outside lug jumped to small terminal
that means the KEY line is failing.

the car has A/T or M/T again, i must guess.... sad that.
the M'/T the key line is interrupted by the clutch switch.
the A/T is interrupted by the PRNDL switch on the tranny
all cars can have an alarm system or other BS, that cuts
this line too. (BS like add on remote starts, etc)\

when you turn the key to start, the key line goes to 12v
and must arrive at the solenoid, if not bingo.
its obvious what is wrong, a dead key line.
find it.
a voltmeter (any made in 50 years) finds this in 30min work.

1998 maxima when engine is cool car starts and runs great. After engine gets warm/hot 30min of driving or longer if sitting at a redlight (idle more than about 5min) or running into store, gas station,...

Having a scan tool that reads engine sensor data is the way to a fix . What are the fuel trims at ? short term an long term . Do you know what these are . What does the computer show for mass air flow data > not just a code . Coolant temp sensor - what does the computer show engine temp is ? Throttle position sensor ? Your best bet may be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that knows how to diagnose these type problems . not just replacing parts .It takes years to become a top drivability diagnostician .

Fan keep running for more than 30min after car is turned off is this normal? Fan to cool down radiator

Unless it was unbelievably hot out it shouldn't run that long. Likely the relay is sticking and needs to be replaced.

Turns over but will not start every time but if persistent sometimes it does start turn it off and will not start straight away

hi, it sounds like it just needs a good service new plugs etc then i would go out and buy a fuel cleaner additive that you can buy from most filling stations make sure you buy the correct type ie petrol or diesel and then follow instructions on the bottle then give the car a good run for about 30min or so then you should find your car will start fine.

If not then you need to start looking at the elctrical side of things like distributer etc

Let me know how you get on or if you need further asistance ok

Wont start after being turned off for at least 30 minutes

Im not sure what you mean when you say wont start after being turn off for 30min, do you mean the starter wont turn the motor over after 30min or the engine turn over but it wont fire/run? if it start every time after its cool down. check the coil, the original coil tend to fail with heat over time. if its original coil for being 1990 I would go ahead and place it. distributor Assembly unit will also need replacing if its original and having high miles. a sign of the coil going bad when it get hot it quit working until its cool off. fuel pump can be another causing the problem. hope that help some
