Check the seat motor switch associated with the motor in question and also check the wiring harness at the motor and switch to eliminate the possibility of a short circuit.

2006 ford 500 keeps killing battery replaced alternator 3 times and battery and still same problem what can it be??

You have a parasitic draw , something is shorted , or on , or a module is not powering down when it's suppose to. You need to hook a amp meter up between the battery negative post an the negative cable end . Check the meter to see how much draw there is . Pull fuse till the draw goes away or stops ! Find a wiring diagram to see what all is on that fuse an then disconnect thing's on that circuit till you find the culprit ! How To Perform Parasitic Draw Test EricTheCarGuy

that little red light should not be killing your battery it has very little voltage and amperage draw. it may be another issue.

Hey i am having a problem with power being drawing and killing my battery as well as killing cells in the battery ?? i have a new alternator and new battery. This is my third battery !!

You need to check for a draw. This can be done with a volt meter capable of reading amperage or a low amp probe.

If you have either of these I can help you further. Just let me know.

We need to disconnect the factory alarm. It keeps killing the battery . Was wondering if there are fuses to remove or if it has it's own wiring harness?

locate the alarm itself and unplug it test for a draw by disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery and one end to the terminal and one end to the n- battery cable it should be out if its lit then something is causing a draw maby glove box light as well

E.E.C. relay causing power draw and killing my battery

My girlfriend has an eddie bauer as well. We had an issue where the blower motor for the heater comes on unexpectedly when the key is out and it's parked. And kills the battery ... in about 3 hours ... We pulled the 30A blower motor fuse under the hood ... I think it was called the ECC fuse Electronic Climate Control ... Go put that fuse back in ... sit in the car the blower for your heat may come on ... Maybe ... ours happened onlt 2x in 6 months, then it has been fine ... there are two possible solutions replace the ECC motor control (under the hood and fairly difficult to get to), or it could be the less likely Dash heat contol panel ... both are costly
