A/c will not shut off. Radio has power but does not work.
I have a 1995 Buick Riviera. The radio, heat & a/c controls stopped working. Now the a/c stays blowing all the time. Not when car is off. Once in awhile the radio will start playing but itself. you cant change the station or adjust volume or shut off. I have power to the dash displays but it only shows lines. --.-- Something like this. I know its probably a module but which one? Help! I cant find anything on-line. Thanks

sounds like Fuse or Relay is blown , If you had work done @ a shop then it is their responsibility to Check and fix it, Just Be nice and it will Probably be fixed for free.Just explain that this worked before it was brought in and that it should still Work
first thing you should unhook your battery just to be safe. you have to take out the bracket that holds everything. the cover. it is a clip on and clip off. use a flat head screw driver and pry it off. one corner at a time and then eventually it should come right off. under that there are brackets holding the radio in place. unscrew the screws that bind the two. un plug anything that is connected to the radio. they should easily come off they are clip connected. after you removed all wires going from and too the radio and the screws have been taken out. it should slide right out. if you are buying a after market radio or navigation screen you will have to buy the correct casing that holds the radio. as there might be a gap between the radio and the plastic. just repeat backwards to reinstall everything. be carefull not to break or crack the plastic when removing it with a flat head. hope I could help.
to stop power antenna from running, disconnect body harness from ant relay asm. 3 wire connector pink/red/black will disconnect from relay. if antenna continues to run and won't retract, the cord inside is broken. dealer item only or used.
LOOK FOR BROKE OR MISSING ANTENNA.IF ALL IS GOOD RADIO ANTENNA LEAD ON RADIO COULD CAME A LOOSE OR RADIO RECEIVER IT SELF FAULTY.MAKE SURE RADIO BAND IS ON FM INSTEAD AM.BECAUSE AM STATIONS HAS STATIC.
There's a dedicated fuse for radio. But most newer cars if you take out battery radio goes into "enter code" mode (security feature). You have to know special code to your specific radio. Info doesn't usually make it to second owners.
