The inner panel may not need to be removed completely. I removed mine because I was working in the dark except for a flashlight and I couldn't see that well. After I got it off and tried putting it back on I regretted taking it all the way off. Had I done it in the daylight I would have only loosened the bottom of the panel because there is a snap on the top of the panel which you have to slide the panel to the left to release and it is a real pain to get back on. So much for Toyota engineering. Most of the panel is just held on by snaps which can be unsnapped just by pulling on the panel or prying with a screwdriver covered with tape. There is also a hook on the bottom of the panel which you can see after releasing the push snaps that has to be pushed up to clear but it is near the bottom edge and a lot easier to see. It is just a few inches to the right of the middle of the door. After loosening the bottom of the panel and the side you are working on you should be able to get your hand in to turn the socket about 1/4 turn to release it and slide the bulb out. The bulb pushes into the socket but has to be oriented to fit the socket. While I had the panel off I noticed that there was not a cable going to the inside door release like the salesman said so attached a heavy nylon cord to it and ran it by the inside release door to attach it to door so it would be easy to find from the inside release door. This was for a 2004 Toyota Sienna.

Left brake light dont work when brake peddel is applied

Replace the bulb,
1. Open the lift gate on the rear of your Blazer or drop it if you have the tail gate that folds down. Locate the screws on the inner edge of the lift gate frame. There are two screws--remove them with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Slide the taillight assembly out of the rear of the truck, being careful to not break the locating tabs on the rear of the housing. Locate the bulb sockets on the rear of the taillight assembly.
3. Rotate the light bulb socket counterclockwise about a quarter turn to unlock it from the taillight assembly. Pull the socket straight out of the assembly with the bulb attached to it.
4. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling it straight out of the socket. If you are removing the entire assembly from the truck, remove the remaining sockets from the rear of the taillight assembly, lay them aside and remove the assembly completely.
5. Reinstall everything in revers and don't for get to *** some grease to your socket before you place the new bulb in place and test the operation of the new bulb before you reinstall the tail light.
Thank you for using fixya and here is the bulb you need for the trail light. The 1999 Blazer uses a 3057 bulb available at most auto parts stores.

How do you access the rear tail light bulbs to replace in a 2006 sienna van?

2006 Sienna taillight.
Open tailgate. Loosen bolts holding tailight assembly. Standing next to the car, pull light assembly toward the side and back of the car. It will feel like you're going to break the light assembly, but you won't. I attempted this last fall (2008), but feelin' a bit uncomfortable pulling on it in different directions, I reassembled it and had the guys at the dealership do it right there in the dealership parking lot. If it was to break, I wanted them to break it! But it didn't break and I saw how to do it next time.

How do I replace the Rear Brake light bulb of 2001 Toyota Sienna?

I have a 2001 Sienna and have had to replace most of my tail light bulbs.

The bulbs that are mounted in the fender (wrap arounds) have acess panels in the van's interior that easily pop out and expose the back of the light assembly.

However, the bulbs that are found in the lift gate are a different matter. You have to remove the whole interior panel to the lift gate to expose the light assemblies. Go to your auto parts store and get a tool to help pop out the plastic retainers from the lift gates metal frame. Don't force the retainers out. Go slowly and gently so that you don't damage the interior panel. If you are really gentle you might even get to reuse the retainers.

Good luck!

Replacement of rear outside tail light assembly

If you're asking how do you change a taillight bulb, then follow this procedure:

Open the trunk lid.

Disconnect the connectors from the taillights (taillight bulb connectors are visible by looking inside the trunk at the back of the tail lamps.) There may be an interior trunk trim panel that you have to take off but in most cases its just a series of thumb screws that hold them in.

Brake Lights/Taillights: 21/5 W

Rear Turn Signal Light: 21 W

Back-up Light: 21 W

Rear Side Marker Light: 5 W

Turn the bulb sockets 45 º counterclockwise to remove the bulbs.

If you're removing the taillamps with the bumper off there are 3 nuts and screws that hold the taillight to the rear panel of the car that have to come off from the inside of the trunk.
Remove the nuts and screws, then remove the taillight.

hope that answers your question

Replacing RH Side view mirror on a 2006 Toyota Sienna

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door
