Front seat looks like it can go back farther how do i get it to move back

Check if there is an obstruction in the tracks. Usually a penny or dime will get caught in the tracks and stop it from moving freely. You can remove the seat from the car and pull the seat release while moving the seat back and forth to wither dislodge the obstruction or to identify it for sure.

The drivers power seat moves in all directions but does not back as far as usual

Check the inside of the track for an obstruction. You will need to move the seat all of the way forward, but you should be able to see if there is something obstructing it and keeping it from moving. The dead give away is if the seat moves up after you move it all of the way back, there is something in the seat track.

Drivers power seat, in the most back position of the seat travel it is ok, but when we move the seat forward to any position it will move back and forth about a .5 inches. Is there a fix for this or do I...

the problem is probably mechanical. unbolt the seat and do a visual while operating the controls. something is loose or may be broken. I thing it may be a simple obstruction preventing the latch from engaging

Front driver seat only moves apx. 2" back from the front of the track. Fuses are good. Back of seat controls work. The pre sets do not move the seat back.

Make sure there is nothing obstructing the seat from under the seat track.Sometimes things fall down there and will jam the seat track.Move the seat up all the way and look it over real good under the seat.Hope this helps.

Check for any kind of obstructions in the track. If there is nothing there, you can try to have someone push the bottom of the back of the seat while you push the forward button, and vice versa. Sometimes the rails get stuck from debris or something wedged in the track. The only other thing I can think of is to take the seat out, remove the drive shaft and try to knock the track free with a hammer.

How to open the cover of power driver seat on 2003 Camry

Before you remove the cover take a flashlight and look very closely that nothing is obstructing the track, something as small as a coin could keep the seat from moving in whichever direction if it is obstructed. I will add more to this just in case, doing some research on it now, but in the meantime let us know by clicking solved if you tried it and it fixed it, thanks, Hope this will work,

Passenger seat won't go back

I have had the same problem. It occurs when you take the key out of the ignition to fast. Sounds stupid but if you turn the engine off and slow down the extraction of the key the seat will move as it should. I was turning off and taking the key out fast and the seat would not retract. Slowed everything down and now it works. Hope this works for you.
