Question about 2007 Mazda B2300

1 Answer

Runs fine for a awhile then starts pinging

1994 B2300 Pickup. Runs fine for a awhile then starts pinging and loses power to only be able to achieve 45 mph. Has had mass oxegen sensor replaced and been on a diagnostic machine and says it always comes up good on all the readings. I don't run cheap gas in it and the mechanics are stumped, next the only thing they say to try is either replace or update the computer. Please help with any suggestions or guidance, thanks

My Chevy Tahoe has no power and cant get up past 40 mph without starting to lose power, could it be Mass air flow sensor?

Possibly, but it sounds more likely a catalytic converter may need replacing or fuel filter maybe clogged

88 bronco. runs fine untill it warms up then loses most power

Sound like an ignition issue. The hotter temps are causing a part to fail.If you've never replaced the ignition coil, this is the easiest place to start.Another possibilty would be the pickup in the distributor,or the reluctor on the distributor shaft.

Will the MAF sensor cause my 1994 nissan pickup (4 cylinder to shut off when you stop? Truck is hard to start, you have to hold accelerator pedal all the way down to get it started. It runs fine at idle....

Good Evening, if your truck runs fine at idle it would make me wonder about the mass air flow sensor, however when you first start it your idle air control sensor should open up and let your vehicle to idle up to warm idle and then back to normal. So there are a few things to check.

1996 buick LeSabre runs rough at 50 mph

Sounds like low fuel pressure. i.e. fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or fuel filter.

Runs rough when cruising at 35-40 mph

try pulling off the air breather hose and look inside at the mass air flow sensor,it looks like a wire with a diode hooked to it incase you didnt know, see if there is any fuzz on it,sometimes the air filter will lose small pieces and the mass air flow sensor catches it.If that doesnt work then you may have a fuel problem, weak pressure, causing the mass air flow sensor to read too much air so it tricks the computer to adjust the issue.
