If you are mechanically inclined then you should be able to handle it. But if this is the first one you've ever attempted you will need a manual. It will show the tips and tricks to getting it right the first time. As for the tools, you don't need a master set but you do need a standard set of some type. Similar to a 300 piece craftsman set. If you don't have the tools it would be less costly to take it somewhere.
Good luck.
And I've done enough brake jobs to be able to help with any problems you might encounter so feel free to ask me for any further help you might require.

best way to do this is to remove each fuse 1 by 1, and replace them 1 by 1, untill you find the blown one, then replace the blown fuse with a good one. (use needle nose pliers) makes the job easy, and won't take 2 min.

1993 GMC sonoma 2.8L timing chain replacement

Are you going to attempt this yourself? 1. Purchase a Chilton or Motors manual for the '93 Sonoma and see if this repair is something you feel equipped and prepared to perform. If so, you'll be taking components off the front of the engine (possibly removing the radiator, too), and you will need some special tools as well. Then follow the procedure outlined in the manual TO THE LETTER.

Ball joints location and replacement

Lower ball joints attach the lower "A"-arm to the bottom of the strut assembly or steering knuckle. Original ball-joints are usually rivited on and require drilling or grinding to remove. The vehicle must be raised and supported when doing this. Seperating the balljoint from the knuckle requires a splitter fork and a lot of pounding. Not something I would recommend for a novice to attempt.

Replace crankseal on 1997 mpv

front crank seal or rear.
Front involves cambelt removal so you might think of changing that too
rear involves gearbox and flywheel removal so if it's a manual you may consider a clutch replacement. Neither job should be attempted by a novice and you really need a manual if your doing it yourself to ensure you don't mess up the timing etc etc

How do i replace a brake line , i can just cut the linr and replace the section i cut out

You can, but its not the best way. I would advise to replace the whole length of line or where there is a union. Make sure its perfect, or have a repair shop do it. You cant take chances with brakes. Special tools are needed and it needs to be routed and retained correctly.

Replacing a rear wheel bearing 1996 gmc sonoma 5 speed what all is involved does the axle have to come out or can you just take wheel and brakes drum off etc.

To remove the rear axle to replace a bearing you have to remove the rear differential cover and remove the small retaining bolt holds the spider gear shaft in place and then slide this shaft out far enough to remove the "C" shaped axle shaft retaining clip. Once this clip is off then the axle can be slid out and the bearing & seal replaced. Make sure that none of the spider gears or thrust washers behind them get out of place and you should use a new retaining bolt when reassembling the differential components as they come [or should come this way] with thread locker to prevent them from coming loose.

I have a 2001 gmc sonoma 4.3 replace brake lines on back i am not getting any fluid to rear wheels i tryed bleeding sys with help diconected abs sys to reset to defalt no abs light is on stumped

a special tool is required to hold the ABS hydraulic control unit popit valves open during bleeding of the brakes, without this special tool you will not be able to get the air out of the system, most good brake shops have this tool or of course the local Chevy dealer or GMC dealer. I am a dealer tech and know this information is correct..
