Question about 2001 Volvo V70
Volvo V70 2001 wagon...need to replace front passenger side turn signal bulb (next to headlamp)...I am turning counter clockwise (have tried gently clockwise also) as owners manual says to do, but it will NOT budge. Pushing in at the same time does not help either. Gently griping with pliers and attempting to turn also does not help. What else can I try to remove the turn signal bulb assembly?
If there are no burn marks on the housing then use as much force by hand to turn the entire black knurled assembly counter clockwise, you may already be at the point you have to be. Now try wiggling it back forth and pulling straight back at the same time. I'm assuming you've removed the housing from the body. If not there is a small gray latch that just pushes back and the whole assy. comes out very easily. When replacing the bulb put a little dab of vaseline on the metal area of the bulb before inserting it.
