HI you can not get the washer alone. But the auto parts store has the switch i believe I paid like $15.00 for it. And it will solve the problem.

The brake light does not turn on even after replacing with a new one

All vehicle brake lights use a switch to determine if the lights are on or off. This switch, known as a stoplight switch, consists of a plunger-style button that breaks and completes a circuit. When the brake pedal is pressed, the plunger comes outward, completes the circuit and the lights turn on. There are several faults that can make your brake lights stay on. The circuit may go bad and remain completed, or the rubber stopper on the brake pedal stalk could fall off or come apart. If nothing is keeping the plunger pressed in, the circuit remains open.

Brake lights staying on

Look up under drivers side dash on brake pedal arm. The arm should be depressing the switches slightly. Is the brake pedal coming all the way back up? There are small rubber nubbers, either on the switches or the arm that may have come off, and now the arm won't touch the switch, leaving the brake lights on. The rubber nubber may be laying on the floorboard.

97 corolla, car turned off, brake lights stay on, draining battery

Check brake light switch on brake pedal and see if there could be a rubber bumper missing or you could have a bad switch. Switch should be on or close to brake pedal and when you press pedal listen for switch to click.
