Must install converter into tranny first. Then bolt torque converter to flywheel after you slide it into place. Make sure converter slips into tranny..you will need to turn it several times untill it fits into grrove inside tranny.:)

96 town and country wont turn over and shift indicator does not show park

It sounds as if your shift cable is out of adjustment. If you remove the air filter box and the hose at the throttle body you will be able to access the transmission shift lever, on top of the ******.Loosen the cable adjusting screw that is on the lever. Pull the lever all the way to its detent position which is Park. Release the parking brake and rock the vehicle to assure that it is in Park lock. Reset parking brake. In the cab, place the Shift lever in the Park position, return under the hood and tighten the cable adjusting screw. Your van will only start when the transmission is in Park or Neutral. Hope this helps! Dan Williams

The van was running good until I took the transmission out and put it back. Now it will turn over fine but it will not start.

I would check the crank sensor. Make sure it did not get damaged when removing or installing the transmission. Also make sure it is plugged in because it is on the bell housing of the transmission towards the back of the van and it is easy to forget to hook it up. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.

Need to replace a wiper motor on a 2002 chrysler town and country mini van. how is this done?

Remove the wiper arms (pop off the caps at the base) and the 15mm nut. Take out the screws that hold down the wind shield cowl lift it away to expose the washer hoses. Unplug the wiper motor (center driver's side) by pulling out the red clip on it and squeezing the tab. Remove the 13mm nut from the wiper motor idler arm and take out the 3 10mm bolts that hold it in place. Squeeze it out from under the wiper transmission, or loosen the lower bolts. You'll see them. Not a difficult job, just take your time.

Hope I've helped.
