The maf will be on the main injection air intake pipe. The large pipe from the air filter to the injection system if you find the car will not rev some times disconnecting this will allow the car to rev and run more freely but will not tickover properly and this can often be a good indication that this is faulty.
However if the car runs properly when cold you may have a exhaust blockage so check exhuast flow

It's not mad sensor , it's MAP - manifold absolute pressure or a MAF - mass air flow sensor ! You can go to the parts store an they will help you out. Or you can go to a auto salvage yard an find a vehicle like yours an get used parts cheaper !

1992 honda accord cuts off while driving or at idle when it reaches normal operating temperature

Possible bad coil/module, or any major sensor which fails as it heats up. These may test good when not hot.

1992 honda accord dx when its idleing it will rev up and down for no reason I took off a vaccume line next to throttle and it idled could this line be clogged?

yes or possibly more likely hose may be collapsing from the vaccum...inspect...also check throttle position sensor, idle control valve.mass air flow sensor, or possibly (map)sensor.any one of these could cause your problem.start with (map)sensor they are a comon trouble maker.

What causes the engine is at normal operating temperature idle roughly and die?

I would check the mass air flow sensor that is located on the air intake (its the box in line on the air intake with wires going into it) with the engine running take a screw driver and smack the mass air flow sensor with the handle... if the engine stalls or starts running real rough that might be the culprit.

Its not your mass airflow sensor or what ever the shops told you. Your v-tec solenoid is eaither very clogged up, dirty or just went bed. Have it replced, or replace it yourself. Its not that hard. Just set a couple of hours aside and tackle it. And most of the time you can but it at your local autozone, napa or advance auto. Heres a picture to show you what it looks like....

1992 Honda Accord Check engine light

Hi check all your air pipes for any splits or rips, poor seals. the air flow meter or air mass sensor may need changing, clean then firstly as they can get very dirty.

As you say you take your foot off and then back on to get more power this could be a Idle control valve/ this gives the correct amount of fuel to air to make the car run properly.

Check these first if no joy get back to me.

ox is same as o2 and is an oxygen sensor which is located on the exhaust manifold lower side. These sensors tell how much gas fumes in exhaust and then tell computer how to adjust air/fuel ratio

The Mass Air Flow sensor is located in the tube running from air filter. It is attached to the throttle plate. It tells the car computer how much air flow is coming into car.

An average car sucks in 9000 gallons of air per every gallon of gas you burn up

You should take the vehicle to Autozone to have them scan the vehicle for free.
The mass air flow sensor could be out of range . The idle air control could be sticking . The throttle position sensor could be out of range. The o2 sensor are running to rich or lean.

I hope the free scan could get you in the right direction with the codes stored in the system.

Fan continues to run while car is off

Usually on most vehicles the coolant temperature sensor sends info to the ecm which then determines when to turn your fan on and off, when you turn the car off the fan may continue to run until the engine reaches a cooler temperature, if the front radiator grill is'nt getting proper air flow to cool the coolant down check the radiator grill for damage or debris build up, if the car has problems over heating check the entire cooling system.

1992 honda accord xe

If your car is fuel injected it may be the throttle position sensor, (TPS) hook up a DVOM and check that voltage output of sensor is steady closed to open throttle, since 35MPH is near closed throttle, that is were to focus your attention, also the mass air flow meter (MAF) may be at fault, do you have any codes? These 2 parts donot as a rule set codes.
