2000 excursion clicks at fuse box killing motor

My 2000 ford excursion just started making a loud clicking sound at the top 2 relays of the fuse box. The SUV was dead and i couldnt jump it off so i replaced top 2 relays but they still click even though i can jump it off now, but it must be jumped off everytime i turn it off??? any help???

its the horn relay making the clicking. if you don't mind not having a horn follow the sound unti you find the small black box that's making clicking and pull it out like a fuse.

There is a turn signal/flasher relay that has probably died. They are usually plugged into the cars fuse box. Get a new one from a dealer - they are cheap enough.

#1 Try starting the car in Neutral, if no start replace the Park and Neutral safty switch. #2 Check for a faulty starter solenoid. #3 Check for a faulty stsrter motor. #4 Check for a faulty ignition switch. #5 Check for faulty starter Relays.#6 Check the Transmission Range sensor it could be out of adjustment or defective. #7 On 1998 and later models, the power relay is in the power distribution box in the engine compartment. Where is the fuel pump relay located on a 2000 excursion. just installed a new engine and cant get pump to activate.No owners manual either. thank


The fuel pump relay is located either in the fuse/relay center in the engine compartment (relay #112 .Which is 20A Maxi fuse) .
Or behind the.radio in the center of the instrument panel.

should be # 27 in the fuse block, looking at the fuse box all the way to the right in the box it will be the 6th fuse down from the top.

th should be in the fuse box inder the hood. the inside of the cover should tell you which relay it is.

We do not have the owners manual for our 2000 ford excursion and need to check the fuses. I need a diagram for the fuse box and what each fuse is.


you have fuses under the hood and under the dash panel inside the trcuk

need to know what fuse or relay you are looking for. The wiring book doesn't have an illustration for the entire fuse panels

Where is the fuel pump relay on 2000 excursion


The fuel pump kill switch is behind the passenger kick panel.
The Relay is 202 in the Power Distribution Box under the hood.
Fuse is located at 112 in the PDB.
