Airbag light will not shut off

The SRS system is self diagnostic, if during the self check the system registers an error the light will not go out and the system will not arm. The only way to shut the light off is to repair the issue. Your vehicle will need to be hooked to a scan tool that is able to access the SRS side of your vehicle and pull the code, repair the issue that has set the code. Simple as that.

Does 1966 mustang 289 have self adjusting valves?

If it's a "K" code hi-po 289, then it has solid lifters and the valve clearance is adjustable. If a standard 289, then it has hydraulic lifters which are zero clearance and self adjusting, i.e. there is no adjusting screw on the rocker arm.

98 jetta wolfsburg. Clip that hold cable to arm broke. When replacing the clip I had to jack up the clutch arm with a bottle jack to hook up the cable. The cable will not let the arm drop down where it...

It has a plastic Ratchet style gear at the pedal end of the cable that has to be released. This gear automatically adjust the clutch when the pedal is pressed. Never put a jack against a clutch arm. You will probably have to disengage the cable to reset the ratchet gear. Don't strip the teeth on the gear

My remote does everything its suppose to do but i cannot figure out how to arm my alarm system!

Check the owner's manual; many factory alarm system self-arm after a limited time-out. And, a combination of buttons on the remote will often select either silent arming or a horn-beep/light-flash to let you know.
If you want to check if it is armed, you could always use the flat hand on your hood after you think it is armed with the remote.

1 wiper out of time /need details of wiper drive

i think your wiper arm is loose thats all ,if you lift the plastic covers on teh bottom of the arms their is a nut and one of them is loose so turn wipers on then self park them and the one that self parks correctly is ok and the other ones needs resetting in the same position as the other then tightening the nut up that holds the arm on .

Can not lock car by key remote . toyota rav 4 53 plate

If your car has an alarm with a separate remote, it is a separate system and it is probably self-arming. When you lock the doors with the key central lock, the alarm gets armed by the RAV4 being OFF and the door locking action. When you unlock the doors with the key, the alarm is still armed because the key is not comunicating with the alarm just the cars factory keyless system.

Bake hoses and the pit arm assembly needs changed

Pitman arm assembly isnt hard with the right puller for the job.Brake lines need a double flare tool involved if doing it with only steel line and connections.Local auto part stores have made up lines that would work if you had the lengths you needed.Be sure to bleed the system well after fixing starting with longest line first.
