Google has no idea what this 4XR-5 is, but if you bought a vehicle with no keys it is probably stolen.

If it is an alarm / immobilizer, you will need an auto electrician or auto locksmith.

Idle is normally set for life but if you follow the linkage to the injector pump you will see it rests on a screw/bolt with a lock nut. Release the lock nut and turn the screw back until its what you want. Make sure the fast idle isn't caused by another fault like binding cable or linkage.

Can't clean it anyway

Your shifter bushings are worn out. Very easy fix. You can get shifter bushings from NAPA for about $2 ea, you need 4 of them. Drive the car onto ramps. Under the car there is a long rod that connects the shifter to the transmission. Unbolt the part connected to the shifter, remove old bushings (if they are still there), install new. Same for the where the shift rod connects to the transmission. 30 minute job, and it will shift great...Chris

Hi,
The problem will be the wiper linkage, either the linkage connector are all broken and the motor needs adjustment! The connector are made of plastic and at the age of that patrol it might have been broken and needs a grease! U could access the linkage by removing the wiper motor and unscrew the wiper and wiper base! The easiest part is pulling it out... the hardest will be putting back! Don't worry, it takes time and patience and u could get it back again!

the buttons are still available from a buick dealer. i bought some last year

My only question is if it's an "easy fix" why has she not done it...It certainly would be far easier to sell without the miss!

look inside engine compartment, locate the transmission has metal linkage arms with plastic round end connection in to metal half ball mechanism , play with system, move it back and forward, side to side, they are behind transmission and left side of car standing on front, by playing You will notice free play in one, that's the bad one, look in to getting all new
