Question about 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 2WD

Open Question

My 2007 Dodge Stratus seems to not get enough gas sometimes when I attempt to accelerate. This lasts for 1/4 mile, up to several miles at a time. The motor never stalls, but the car slows to 20-25 mph despite racing the engine. My mechanic has replaced a throttle part, with no improvement. I have begun adding fuel injector/carburetor fluid with each fill up, with slight improvement.

These code readers are 100% reliable. If you feel it is not getting enough fuel it means there is problem with the ignition. But the actual technical reason is that the timing controls the ignition of the car. If the timing is wrong the problem you are facing can surely happen.

Car feels like it's bogging down during acceleration, also sort of stutters starting at 45 mph and progressively gets worse above that. I had the radiator, timing belt, and water pump replaced last week....

try replacing your fuel filter, With big temperature swings this time of year, condensation (water) forms in fuel tank, Prior to changing fuel filter run a bottle of STP gas treatment or a good injector cleaner through it.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus 2.4 dual overhead cam. When driving down the road, bell goes off, check engine light comes on, and it's like I'm driving on limp mode, when going over 2000 rpm's, there's a severe stutter. After getting code for light it points to cam shaft sensor, which i changed. I also changed crank shaft sensor. After all of this was done, drove great for about 30 miles and the same thing happened all over again. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

They make heaters for the battery, heater, oil pan, and block. and you might try a thinner oil depending on the temperatures. The heaters themselves run around $100 ( for all) and will last for years. Even a battery blanket will help pretty good. Again depends on your regular temperatures.
