How do I replace driver side view mirror

There is a triangular piece of plastic inside the door opposite the mirror. You remove the panel and you'll see 2 bolts. Remove the bolts and unplug the wire connector (if you have electric rear view mirrors) and the mirror will come right off. Installation is reverse.

Remove the drivers headlight housing (remove obvious screws on top of housing and then pull the assembly straight forward with moderate force (needed to dislodge from a small ball joint that is not visible)). When the headlight housing is pulled, you will see the horn clear as day below.

there is a plastic cover on inside of the door you must carefully remove it to access the 13mm hex bolt, that holds the mirror to the car door.if it is a power mirror you must remove the door panel to unhook the wire connector.it would help to know if it is the driver or passenger mirror.

Replace driver side mirror

The entire assembly has to be replaced, can not just replace the mirror.Remove the plastic trim on the inside of the door on the top part of the panel, either comes off with one screw or bolt or simply pull and it has pins in it.Then remove your bolts that hold the mirror in from the inside. If you have a power mirror remove the electrical pigtail, then simply reinstall.Hope I could help..HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

How do you replace a driver's side exterior mirror?

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Replacing driver side mirror

Take off side door panel, screws securing it are revealed, unscrew screws remove them and and the mirror drops off. If the wing mirror is on the bodywork, then the screws should be either in the wheel arch or under the bonnet.
