How to change spark plugs in 05 g6

The G6's spark plugs are located under the plastic cover of the engine compartment for the 3.5 V6, under the spark plug wire boots (the plastic ends of the wires you plug on top of your spark plugs). Once you get the plastic cover off you cant miss them, just follow the plug wire cables. They are easy to change if youremember to do one at a time, (since order does matter, don't mix up the cables!). Also don't over tighten them, expensive damage will be caused. Its best to borrow a torque wrench and read the new spark plug box instructions for proper tightness.
Generally if you have trouble finding spark plugs, it might be best to let someone else do this one rather than risk the damage. But there is no better way to learn than by doing it yourself.
if for some reason you dont do them one at a time which is a bad thing to do. theFiring Order is 123456
also the
Spark Plug Gap for the 3.9L is
1.00 mm
0.040 in

Spark Plug Gap for the 3.5L is
1.52 mm
0.060 in

Where are the spark plugs located in a 03 hyundai santa fe??

To locate and change the the (4) spark plugs on a 2003 Hyundai 2.4L 4 cylinder engine:
Remove the (4) 12mm bolts from the decorative plastic engine cover. Remove plastic cover from engine and place it off to the side out of your way.
Standing in front of the car, the (4) spark plugs are located laterally (left to right) in the recessed area underneath where the plastic engine cover was removed.
Note: This engine has (2) coils....They are located above spark plugs number (2) and (3) from left to right.

How do change spark plugs on a 1998 xj8

Remove plastic cover over the engine ( three screws).
You then have access to the front three spark plugs (cylinders 1,3,5) remove the nut which holds down the independant coils and remove the spark plugs, fit new spark plugs and fit coils on the three front cylinders.
Now it gets a little tricky, you will only be able to access number 2 back cylinder so you have to remove the induction manifold (12 bolts I think) to access the back three cylinders (2,3,6,) properly.
Then proceed as with the front three spark plugs, refit manifold and plastic cover,

Where are the spark plugs located on a 2003 Mits. eclipse 4cyl gs

the spark plugs are in the top of the engine going thru the valve cover into the cylinder head. you might have a plastic cover that is over top of the valve cover which is covering up the spark plugs. they are very easy to change out.

Change sparks plugs on 06 hyundai sonata v6

You didn't specify whether you have the (4) cylinder or the (6) cylinder engine..... I have a 2004 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L 4 cylinder and I just changed the spark plugs in it. I believe that the 2005 2.4L engine is the same. To locate and change the (4) spark plugs on a 2004 Hyundai 2.4L 4 cylinder engine: Remove the (4) 12mm bolts from the decorative plastic engine cover. Starting with the fist spark plug on the left: Remove the spark plug cable by pulling straight up on the insulated connector. Using a spark plug socket, remove the old spark plug and install a new one in it's place. To access the second spark plug from the left, remove the electrical connector and the spark plug cable wire from coil number (1) and then remove the (2) 12mm bolts that secure the coil to the engine. Spark plug number (2) is located directly under the coil. Lift the coil straight up removing the insulated connector from spark plug number (2). Using a spark plug socket, remove old spark and install a new one in it's place. Repeat same procedures for spark plugs number (3) and (4). Note: If you have the (6) cylinder engine, the front (3) sparks pluge are readilly accessible but in order to access the (3) rear spark plugs, you will have to remove the intake manifold

Changing spark plugs

This is the 3.5L inline 5 cylinder engine. The spark plugs are at the top of the engine. They are covered by a hunk of plastic called the "Air Intake Resonator".  Remove the plastic. Carefully pull the ignition coils from the spark plugs. Unlike most other cars. The Colorado has a coil on every plug.  This boosts ignition power, but, every coil is expensive. Do not harm them.

Trying to change spark plugs

??? ...the spark plug wires are under a plastic guard. The plugs are lower - follow the wires. The ones at the firewall side of the engine are hard to get to...some suggest tilting the engine to access them easier...I laid on top of the engine and got them out.
