2002 Jaguer X type no start

i heard you, battery is fine but needs to be tested. can it deliver the required cold cranking amps? i had experience like that. measured 12+ volts at battery terminals, & hesitantly tried to jump but no go. took out battery for free recharge, they told me bad battery.

My remote stater doesnt work!!

Check to make sure the unit installed is not in VALET MODE, then check the battery in your keyless remote, most of the time that battery has gone dead. it should snap apart or unscrew and will require a large watch type battery in most cases

Does jeep nwrangler (1998) 4.o litre with air have a voltage reulator that if bad would stop alternator from putting charge into battery? and where is voltage regulator located?

The voltage regulator it in the ECM.What you need to do is go to the basic which can be overlooked like is the Alternator fuse burnt open that will require a new fuse, how is the battery terminal connection? You need to check that,Or how is the calbe from the alternator to the Battery is the connection in good shape? Those you need to check you mainly need a voltmeter to do this but a good visual inspection can get results,

Pep boys carries the Bosch U1RT 370 sealed battery for 2002 Miata but there are no vent tubes. Are the vents a safety concern. My present OEM battery has the rubber vent tubes. Please comment/advise,...

Older lead acid batterys used to emit a lot of vapour when they heated up hence needing breather tubes. Battery technology has moved on quite a lot and most are now sealed for life type batterys which dont need a vent tube hence "sealed"

There are many types of spark plugs available for your engine. You didn't state what year your F150 was made so I guessed about 2006. The plugs should be the same for a couple of years either side of that, but check to make sure when you buy them. Prices range from $2 each to $9 each. I have had success in my pickup and in my car with Bosch Platinum +2 plugs, which cost about $5 each. They require no gapping, and the platinum electrodes last a long time. They have a five-year warranty. They're available at most auto parts such as Advance or AutoZone. Other manufacturers make compatible plugs -- Champion, Autolite, Motorcraft, and AC Delco.

Bmw e30, mpg and rev counter not working. all other dials do work though. service lights can be and have been reset.

Have you removed the instrument cluster to check/replace the batteries on the Service Indicator (SI) board? These batteries go dead eventually and require replacement. BatteriesPlus carry the right type and will solder new connections for you. Replacement on the board itself requires soldering skills and equipment. This is something BatteriesPlus will also do, for a fee.

How do you change out the battery in a 2006 Nissan Frontier crew cab NISMO

Hi, this is really not to bad to do. To remove the old battery take a ten mm wrench and loosen the battery cables. Always disconnect the positive cable first. Then the negative. When reinstalling the cables do the negative last. Most of the battery hold downs are the type that go over the battery. These require a 10 mm to remove. If you have the type that is at the base of the battery it will require a 12 mm socket and an extension. Thanks
