Question about 1986 Nissan 300ZX
I am having a problem with my 86 300ZX. Whenever I let out the clutch there is a popping in the rear of the car. I thought that it was a U-Joint problem, so I replaced the driveshaft and it is still there. Not sure what else it could be, aside from the bushings and struts, or the rear differential. Anyone have any ideas?
Nope there is a bushing that is in the rear mount that holds the differential in place this is what it is just replace it ....its a dealer only part

The rear shocks were bad about failing in these cars because to the load transfer when accelerating. I recommend that you check the shocks and the bushings around the shocks first.
