Question about 1998 Volvo S70
I change my battery in my car. ( 98 Volvo S70) now my radio is asking for an code. I had three times to put in code. All the codes i put in were wrong. now the radio is just saying OFF
Look in the manual for the code - usually someone has written it in there. If not, call the nearest Volvo dealership and give them the VIN - they can tell you what your code is. Then, with the engine off, turn the key to the "I" position (Roman numeral one) and leave it for at least 4 hours. The radio should then read "Code. and you can enter the 4 digit number! Good Luck!

It will do this automatically as a theft deterrent feature it takes some models up to a few days to reset itself and yes you only have 3 try before it activates look in your owners Manuel to see if it has been written down someplace by previous owner or factory dealership ...
