My car was running just fine nd one day just died. Thought i ran outta gas put gas in wouldn't stat started. When running I tried putting in gear keeps stalling out but while in park runs rough.

I just did a BWM, The MAF sensor plug was sloppy. I fixed that. The problem wasn't as bad, but was still there. I tapped on the sensor and it was considerably worse. MAF sensor fixed it. There are many other things that could cause this also. Year make and model helps.

Why will truck not respond to gas.

I would expect to find a lean fuel mixture. Could be the O2 sensor, throttle position sensor, a vac leak, or a long list of other things.

Would i **** fuel line spray alot of gas?

That could easily be the cause, as a fuel injected engine has around 40psi running through the lines.

The car was running fine after i let it warm up. i ran outta gas and every since that the car will stall out when the gas peddle is pressed. it reves up then stalls out i have to keep pressing on the gas...

usually if you run your car or truck dry it messes with the fuel pump really badly so i would check your fuel pressure. not sure what kind of car or truck you have but its really easy to look up how to check your fuel pressure on the internet. its also a good idea to put an additive in with your next fill up just to lube everything back up. oil only lubes the one side and a lot of people dont know that additives really save your engine some stress

Dodge Dakota doesn't start on first attempt. Seems like fuel takes a while to get up to engine. Once started it runs fine. When it sits for 10-15 minutes, I need to crank engine, wait 1 sec, then crank...

Is the pressure in the fuel system not holding? Fuel pump may be failing or the filter may be bad. Sounds like you're pumping the fuel system back up to pressure before the truck will start. Like when a fuel-injected car runs outta gas and you have to prime the system before it'll start again.
