WE CHARGE 32.50 TO CHECK PCV SYSTEM. THE PCV VALVE HOOKS DIRECTLY TO MANIFOLD VACUUM AND CAN BE CLEANED OR REPLACED.

Hello! The pc solenoid or better known as the pressure control solenoid controls transmission line pressure. If the line pressure is being commanded to full pressure it may be c trying to compensate for a slippage occurring in the transmission. Chances are the diagnosis is correct. Hope this info helps!

You need t have the computer control module scanned for fault codes, guessing is not a cost effective way to approach the problem. But if I must guess you have a defective transmission if no fault codes are in memory.

Check EGR valve to make sure their isn't a piece of carbon stuck under valve seat. Also you need to check exhaust back pressure to make sure you don't have a converter pluged.

2000 buick century no reverse lights

Check the following:-
the fuse
the wires on the switch on the transmission
the switch, remove the wires and touch them together (with the ignition on), if the lights come on the switch is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Trying to flush the radiator--cannot find the bleed valve for coolant.

The drain should be on the drivers side at the bottom of the radiator, facing the driver. It's a plastic "wing" that unscrews. There should also be a bleeder for exhausting the air from the system when you refill. The bleeder I'm familiar with is a brass screw screwed into the thermostat housing. (where the top hose attaches at the engine)
