it could be a vacuum leak check all you vacuum lines for cracks or missing maby off bend the hoses to ensure no cracks are allowing air to **** through them .....is it possibly stuck in 4 wheel reach under the vehicle to grab onto the drive axle it should spin free on the front axle all in all look for any visible items that would be related to what i said

Loud growling noise from front end when vehicle reaches about 25 mph but goes away when turning left or right

Sounds like a CV axle. Generally it is a clicking more than a growling sound. Listening to it while up on jack stands will be mor useful than I in this case

High Pitched Whine

A high pitched whine like that indicates a bad bearing. Water pump, power steering pump, accessory belt slipping, alternator bearing, or in the worst case scenerio, Transmission pump.

Metal on metal sounding clicking noise while the wheels are turning but only on the frot driver and passenger wheels. What is going on? It started out only on the passenger side and then after the tire...

Is the noise a screeching high pitch or a growling low pitch?
It sounds to me that the CV joints might be bad and you need brakes.
high pitch would be the brake warning tabs
the low pitch would be the brake pads are gone and you are on the rotors gringing away metal

I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that has a vacuum or intake leak. I can hear a high pitched whistling sound that goes up and down with the throttle while going down the road. It also gets a low pitched hum...

best way to find a vac leak is get a can of engine start, with the engine running spray it around the intake but not into it, be carful not to get any on the exhaust. If there is a leak the engine revs will increase due to the engine start being sucked in.

Trans noise growling metal...3rd,4th and 5th low speed

I'm not sure, but that sounds like the throw-out barings. If thats the case and they went before the clutch did, then their could be some big problems up ahead.
