P0410 is the error code for Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction
The secondary air injection pump pumps air into the exhaust to help
heat the catalytic converter at cold start. This lowers the emissions
at an otherwise high emission time.
A malfunction means that computer has registered either a pump
failure (common on some models), fuse blown, or improper catalytic
converter function.
Check your fuses. Whether you find a bad fuse or not have the codes reset. Some auto Zones can read and reset the codes. If the error comes back you may want to consider having the exhaust system checked.Problems with the catalytic converter\converters can have a large impact on your MPG.
Had the same problem on a 2004 Crossfire. After a lot of trouble shooting, etc, had the air injection pump relay (K28) $435.00 and fuse replaced (F45), $46.00 not including labor. Problem solved. Was able to pass the smog and obtain cert.
Good luck!
The only way to find out why the engine management light is on is to have a scan of the engine management control module carried out using an appropriate code reader, this will give you the standard EOBD codes for example a catalyst efficiency code would show P0420. If you want to do this on a DIY basis then cheap code readers are available on the internet for around $75.00, these code readers also reset the light after the fault has been fixed. if this was helpful please leave me good feedback

code relates to system or sensor in a system...you need to find the code and do some testing of that system to determine what has failed. Haynes and chiltons have codes listed. I saw a listing online the other day and I'll look again. (no I don't know every code)
