ML 350 Start Error

I have a 2004 ML 350, 40k miles full service history with Mercedes. Have had no issues with the car until two days ago when I attempted to start the car, there was a click but no attempt to turn over or fire. Jump started the car, noticed the radio was requesting a code, assumed the battery was flat. Drove the car for 30 minutes to charge the battery. turned engine off, would not re-start. No power to open windows or turn heater fans on. attempted to jump start the car again but get a Start Error message, when i reomve the donor battery I get no message just a click noise - suggestions as to the fault and possible resolution

What does the wrench code -376 d mean on a 2004 ml350

The maintenance service indicator notifies the driver when the next service is due. Approximately one month before the maintenance service is due, the type of maintenance is indicated in the speedometer display. If one large wrench is shown, a minor service (A) is due. Conversely, if two small wrenches are shown, a major service (B) is due. The value shown in the display may reflect the calculated distance (in miles) or time (in days) remaining. When the maintenance service term has been exceeded, this value is preceded by a "-" (minus symbol). What does the triangle with exclamation point on the dash of a 2009 ML 350 Mercedes indicate? How do you clear it?

ESP Traction issue. Same as when wheel slips in Gravel.
Can be reset by turning steering lock to lock with motor running about 3 times.
If persists try engaging and disengaging low range.

It was purchased used 4 days ago and has 81000 one owner miles. There is a message light that says " SOS drive to repair shop. Whar could this be? The car drives, runs, and rides perfect.

That message means the Teleaide system is not working. IT has nothing to do with performance. The most common cause of failure are the buttons in the console.

2004 ml350 wrench code 25d what is it

It means that your car will want service in 25 days. I'm guessing you don't put a lot of miles on your car. The MB Assyst system will request a service every 365 days or 13,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2004 ml350 wrench code 2d what is it

Hello, The Wrench is telling you that your car is due for Service, Simply an oil change and some inspections are due. The 2D means that the service is due in 2 days. Hope that helps, You can go to a Mercedes dealer but they are way over priced, I would recommend finding a local independent Mercedes shops. Usually they are run by Technicians who worked at the dealers anyway. Just FYI.

Is there a timing belt and water pump service for the 2007 ml 350 at 100,000 miles

No the ML 350 uses a timing chain and the water pump is external on the front side of the engine. No timing belts to worry about on those engines.
