Ok if you have brake light on the dash and an abs light then you will need to check some things frist make sure the rear brake lights are all working then check the fluid in the master cylinder and fill it but only to full line check all fuses if all of theme are ok you will have to have it scanned to find out if it's a speed sensor or the pump.
same problem we bought ours a few months ago thinking we were getting a good car but have had nothing but trouble with it for the last 2 months. same thing our abs light came on along with the tracktion control light and the brakes get really stiff with the pulsating. i have read that it could be a bad pigtail wiring harness to the computer. i will tell you one thing i will never buy another chevy." bummed out in bellingham wa".
Turn the ignition key to the "on" position but do not start the engine. Look at the lamps on the instrument cluster, there should be an abs light that shows. You can also open the hood, and follow the brake lines from the master cylinder. If the vehicle has ABS (and it should for that year and model) the lines will route to an ABS controller (which looks like a big metal "block" with a number of brake lines running to it and will probably say ABS on the housing.
Most cars light up brake when low on brake fluid, a few cars light up ABS to show same thing.
You need to scan the abs computer and get the codes, these codes will tell you whats not working then you check it out, it may be a bad wheel sensor or may just be low brake fluid but you wont be able to just shut it off.
Once the problem is fixed all you have to do is drive the car down the road and the light will shut off when the computer sees everything is working correctly.
Of course there is the possibility that there really is something wrong with the ABS circuit.
Rodos have an issue with the brake light switch which might cause the ESC light to turn on. Have the ABS system scanned, and if your car is still under warranty, then get the brake lights switch replaced.
