If you do not have receipts, and this was not for business, forget it. Generally, car repairs are NOT tax deductable, unless this is a car used for business.

How to Calculate a Down Payment for a Car?

Generally the seller will require a minimum down payment. The amount is completely up to them, sometimes it will be down to zero.

The upper limit is completely up to you. The bigger the down payment, the smaller the monthly payment (or shorter the term). As an extreme exampe, if your down payment matches the price, you won't have any monthly payments to make.

Should I buy an audi a8 with 100000 miles

I would stay away from any car no matter the manufacturer with this many miles on it, it may run great but many other parts like the front end and steering are at the end of there life span, trust me on this. If i was to choose a car to buy with high miles like this I would buy a Honda or Toyota. This car is EXTRMELY EXPENSIVE TO HAVE REPAIRED!

How much is the total sale tax on a passanger car price at 17000 dollars with a 2000 trade allowance

Hello! It would depend on the State your buying the vehicle...In North Carolina, in lieu of a sales tax, a 3% tax is charged each time the title is transferred...However, assuming a tax of 7%...

- 2000.00
$15,000.00 X 7% = $1050.00 + $15,000 = $16,050.00

I own Hyundai XG300/ 2001 make, 100000 miles on it, I have replaced compressor, some valve , and drier too, but still the AC is not working in my car, any suggestions are appreciated

A/C systems are some of the more complicated systems in automobiles today. Your description doesn't provide sufficient information to diagnose/troubleshoot it here. Here's the BEST SOLUTION - take it to a HVAC professional and have it diagnosed. Pay the diagnostic fee, and the professionals will give you an estimate of repairs (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.) This way you'll find out EXACTLY what's wrong and what's required to fixt it. Agreed? In either case, here's the wiring diagrams of both the Full Auto and Manual systems (if you want to fix it yourself):

Just leased an 08 SS

I just leased my 2007 TBSS w/ 3SS, Safe and Sound, no sunroof, BOSE, no nav.
MSRP was $36k
Had a 2006 TBSS and did a 6 month pull ahead (turned it in and didn't have to pay the last 6 months of that lease).
GMAC had a $1k incentive on leases so that acted like a cap reduction payment.
No security since I was turning in a 2006.
Paid 1st and last month for a total of $885.
Monthly payment including state tax of $40 is $440.
Hope that helps.
