Replace your TPS(throttle position sensor) see if that solves that. Now for the compressor, make sure your system is fully charged. Now it could be a couple things, but one that comes to mind is the pressure switch. it's cheap, replace it see if that turns on the compressor if not ,the compressor may be dead. check to see if your getting power to your pressure switch, if so check to see if your getting power down to the compressor. this is how you eliminate most issues, by tracing them down, it's a bit of work, but it sure beats dropping down $400 for a new compressor. good luck

Can not get the new air ride compressor to come on

Make sure the trunk switch is turned on. Your doorjam and trunk switches are wired into the Air-ride. They must sense the openings are closed before the lift compressor will work.

There are level controls for height. If the car was put on a lift without the switch being turned off, the positioner may be stretched beyond working.

2006 2.5L Nissan Altima, A/C was working fine. Had to kick into passing gear on Interstate, kept blowing but no longer cooling. Checked what I could at home. Compressor is def. not coming on when...

Well the car must have a wide open throttle relay that disables the compressor clutch under a load.
it is most likely stuck or not working it most likely gets a signat from the ecm to cut of power to the ac clutch

I dont know what fuse to check for the ac compressor

There should be a 15amp fuse for the compressor in the box next to the battery, also a wide open throttle relay and two pressure switches that can prevent power to the ac clutch.

1990 lincoln continental throttle stuck wide open

make sure nothing is caught holding the plate open, disconnect the throttle cable from the throttle valve at the intake.if the throttle closes then i would say you have a problem with the cable itself and will need to be replaced.make sure there is nothing caught at the gas pedal that is holding open.if the throttle stays open then you may have a problem with the throttle shaft(dirt build up),bent shaft, damaged throttle plate, loose plate(has screws holding plate in position)on the could also be a bad tps sensor(throttle position sensor)that is damaged internally and needs replacing,as it is fasten to the opposite of the throttle shaft from the cable.if you remove the screws(note position of sensor and screws on sensor)and remove the tps and the throttle is not stuck then this is probably the problem and needs replacing.

Which fuse do I need to replace for my ac compressor?

The AC clutch is passenger compartment fuse # 5. This is the fuse for the circuit through the function selector switch to the AC pressure cut off switch & the AC pressure cycling switch.

The engine compartment fuse # 23 & 3 control the WOT ( wide Open Throttle ) relay to the AC clutch diode & AC compressor clutch solenoid.
